The cozy sitting area and the parquet floor added a touch of elegance to the vintage décor that permeates the entire premises. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary free Wi-Fi, a must-have for someone like me who occasionally works remotely. The terrace offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration. While the lack of a dining table may deter some, I found the outdoor dining area to be a lovely alternative, especially during warm weather. The addition of an electric kettle and kitchen utensils was a thoughtful touch, allowing me to prepare simple meals and enjoy a cup of tea while taking in the beauty of the garden area. The availability of free parking was a definite bonus, as I had rented a car to explore the nearby hiking and cycling trails. Villa Doris strikes a good balance between luxury and value, making it a smart choice for those looking to experience the beauty of the German countryside without breaking the bank.
